Norman Parkinson's photography has followed British fashion and culture for over 40 years, b1913 - 1990, born in London. I liked the 60's style on the photographs, the clear use of the dark room and clothing such as the coat and hat. I decided to incorporate this style into my photographs on my film taken for initial ideas for my final piece.
This photograph here of Davina Taylor (1963) used dark clothing and this contrasted with the background and let the viewer focus fully on her and her clothing.
